Hi, I’m Harriet Lidgard.

I’m a Qualified Nutritionist (BSc) and Health Coach, as well as a very passionate foodie!

My hope is to educate, inspire and support you in a way that you can thoughtfully make simple and small changes to create new healthy habits in your everyday life that will benefit you both in the short and long term. Ditch the food guilt, the all or nothing mindset and feel confident in your own skin.

“Number one top tip - spend the time to get to know yourself and what works for your body. Become your very own food, mind & body expert.”

- Because it is so worth it! Food should be enjoyed and celebrated without any feeling of restriction.

My Story

I’ve always loved cooking and eating fresh, whole and nutritious foods. Growing up in a remote coastal part of New Zealand, has given me a great appreciation for good wholesome healthy food and an active lifestyle with plenty of adventure. Living a fun, adventurous and active life is really important to me. Getting out daily to move your body, really does do wonders for both your mental and physical state. A healthy and active lifestyle is quite possibly the best investment you can make!

I get you, because I’ve also been there. For many years I struggled with a negative relationship with food and body image, but after healing that relationship and finding food freedom, I now help others to do the same! I understand the self-destructive behaviours, negative self talk, guilt and unhealthy habits, because that was also me. I want to inspire, support and educate you in a way that you can thoughtfully make simple and small changes to create new healthy habits in your everyday life that will benefit you both in the short and long term.

My Approach

I believe in a food first approach and that all foods can fit into a healthy balanced diet with the right approach and knowledge.

Nutrition should be adding to your life not taking away from it. We focus on what you can be adding into your life and diet to create positive change rather than eliminating things completely. When you focus on crowding in the good and positive things, you will naturally tend to move away from things that done make you feel your best or negatively impact your life.

There is absolutely no one size fits all approach when it comes to nutrition, therefore spending the time to learn what works best for you and your lifestyle through listening to your body and eating more intuitively is one of the best things you can do.
